In a spectacular ceremony, the winners of the 6th CSR Health Impact Awards were celebrated for their significant contributions to health and environment during the pandemic. The awards recognized their path-breaking initiatives in areas like clean air, sanitation, and access to pure water.

Distinguished Presence of Government Officials

The event was graced by Sri Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, who presented the awards to both individuals and corporates. He lauded their remarkable efforts, especially during the pandemic, and stressed the importance of unity in building a stronger and healthier nation. The Minister acknowledged the role of CSR funds in community building and rehabilitation during the Covid-19 crisis.

Emphasizing a Greener and Healthier Recovery

Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, congratulated the awardees and the IHW Council for their contributions to health awareness. He highlighted that the pandemic had presented an opportunity for innovative research and ideas, while emphasizing the need to protect the environment while pursuing economic development.

A Platform to Inspire and Encourage Nationwide CSR Initiatives

The CSR Health Impact Awards, instituted by the Integrated Health & Wellbeing (IHW) Council, not only recognized outstanding CSR initiatives but also aimed to inspire organizations to drive a nationwide CSR-based health movement. The event showcased the importance of a collective corporate conscience to create a more substantial impact.

Awards Across Multiple Categories

The Awards were given in various categories, including COVID Essential Heroes, COVID Social Impact Businesses, COVID Healthcare Providers, Covid Indigenous Response Project, Health CSR Project, Environment Impact Initiative, and WASH Initiative. The event’s impact funding partner, Supper Connect, contributed to the success of the ceremony.
