New Delhi: 29th January With aims to track the spread of the Coronavirus in real-time and keep people updated about it, the Center for System Science and Engineering has launched an online dashboard.
So far 106 people have died and over 2700 are affected with this deadly virus.
The live dashboard collects data from the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as all the centers for disease control in the US, China and Europe.
The Center for Systems Science and Engineering claims that data is being visualised via real-time graphic information system (GIS) powered by Esri.
As per the dashboard, as of now 4,474 confirmed cases have been reported from mainland China.
At second number are HongKong and China, with both 8 confirmed cases.
India’s health ministry has also started a 24×7 helpline number which will answer all queries related to coronavirus.
The ministry is also making an appeal to all the passengers who have a travel history to China since January 1, 2020 to come forward for self-reporting to the nearest health facility if they experience symptoms like fever, cough, respiratory distress etc.
As per WHO, the symptoms of coronavirus include fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.
