Over the years, Tamil Nadu has been facing a high incidence of dual disease (communicable and non-communicable) burden. Rising incidence of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) has put the state on high alert and healthcare providers are now joining hands for comprehensive care management providers. To deal with dual disease burden effectively, leading hospitals of Tamil Nadu have partnered with global leader in health-tech space DayToDay Health India (DTDHI). In last 3 months, DTDHI has partnered with leading hospitals like SIMS, MGM, PSG and 11 other leading hospitals in Tamil Nadu.
On the partnerships, Mr. Prem Sharma, Founder & CEO, DTDHI said, “Our digital health programs are integrated to build a continuum of care model. The increasing burden of NCDs in Tamil Nadu requires multipronged interventions that can address curative and rehabilitative aspects of NCD care and management. Those who undergo complex surgical procedures need focused post-operative care beyond the confines of the hospital. Our services will encourage remote healthcare and will support our partner hospitals to revolutionize the entire continuum of care.”
DTDHI is partnering with leading hospitals in South India to transform patient experience in acute care management. Its virtual care platform and care services augment existing acute care programs by integrating continuous, holistic guidance that supports patients and their families. It seamlessly transforms patient care journey beyond hospital environment as it mitigates avoidable complications, improves clinical efficiency and enriches patient experience. Clinical care programs offered are under the fields of cardiovascular, urology, orthopedics, gastrointestinal, oncology and general surgeries.
“Using technology, we are disrupting pre and post-operative patient care management. Our 14 partner hospitals in Tamil Nadu are known to deliver high-quality and personalized healthcare services across specialties. These hospitals of high repute have partnered with DayToDay digital health program to get comprehensive, personalized and holistic support that addresses a patient’s clinical, physical and emotional needs on a day-to-day basis,” said Mr. Dhrumil Sorathia, Vice President (Sales & Marketing), DTDHI.
The partnerships are also expected to provide support to Tamil Nadu’s recently launched healthcare initiative – ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam’ scheme for tackling NCDs. It includes population-based screening for the 18-plus population for 10 common conditions — hypertension, diabetes, oral, cervical and breast cancers, TB, leprosy, chronic kidney disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and mental health.
