We need to make a constant effort towards maintaining our mental health, one of the few good things that the coronavirus pandemic has taught us. The last seven months have taught us a few valuable life lessons. But there’s no doubt that it’s been a rough year for everyone.
One good thing that has happened to us in this pandemic is that an increasing number of people are now talking about mental health awareness. Therefore, more emphasis must be given towards building a life where safeguarding one’s mental health is the priority.
In an exclusive interaction with Healthwire, Ameeta Sanghavi Shah, a soul mind-body therapist and life coach explained how Covid-19 affects our mental health:
“The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to social anxiety a lot since due to the spread of the virus people have stopped socializing and meeting people. Staying in a closed atmosphere while being in quarantine at home people are developing various mental health disorders. There are many physical symptoms like feeling low, fatigue, and nausea are seen in a person going through a mental health issue,” said Ameeta Sanghavi Shah.
