The human Body is complex having many systems functioning in harmony. Musculoskeletal system has bones, ligaments, tendons and one of its components is muscle. Muscles are made of millions of strands of fibers. These fibers are overlapped, layered and bundled to form the muscular tissue. During stretching exercise elongation of the muscle fibers helps in the reorganization of tissue strands and boosting blood circulation. This boosting of circulation helps in providing nutrients and oxygen within the muscles. Exercise also helps in reducing achiness in muscles by releasing waste products which builds up in the muscles with lactic acid.

As the shoulders hunch forward and spine rounds out and thus certain muscles have to overwork and antagonist or opposite muscles are lengthened leading to pain and other symptoms. Stretching improves blood circulation in muscles & help in relieving pain.
