Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is unwell and will undergo coronavirus test. Kejriwal has been experiencing fever since Sunday along with a sore throat.
He also has a history of diabetes and is reportedly on insulin and other medication.
He was last seen on Sunday evening during an online media briefing. Kejriwal on Sunday announced the Delhi government’s decision to make all Delhi government and private hospitals exclusive for residents of Delhi during the coronavirus crisis.
He is currently self-isolating himself at home.
Earlier, Defence secretary Ajay Kumar has tested positive for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and is under home quarantine.
Also, more Covid-19 cases have surfaced in Shastri Bhawan as Delhi has witnessed a steady increase in infections. According to officials, a joint secretary in the law ministry and the driver of a joint secretary in the culture ministry have also tested positive for the highly contagious disease.
