Coronavirus In India: India Successfully Observes Janta Curfew; Union Government Announces Lockdown In 75 Districts

India has successfully observed the “Janta Curfew”, a clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fight against spurt of coronavirus cases across the country. So far 350 positive cases of novel coronavirus have been reported and five people have died of the COVID-19 till date across the country. It has infected more than 3,00,000 people and killed over 13,000 across the world.

Industrialist Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, has offered to convert Mahindra Holiday resorts as temporary care facilities and plans to make ventilators at Mahindra manufacturing units to help fight the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

All suburban train services cancelled till March 31

In a press release, the railway department stated that all suburban train services would be stopped from midnight of March 23 to 31.
