Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra recently took the booster shot for coronavirus and has also urged eligible to go for it. The actor focussed that one should be very vigilant about their health even after taking the shot, he also said he is taking good care of himself too.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the 86-year-old said how he works hard to stay fit, he said he is cautious about his fitness regime. He revealed that he keeps testing as it keeps the fear of contracting the virus at bay. The actor had a shoot lined up in Daman, but he cancelled it as a precautionary measure.
Recently Dharmendra went on a vacation to Manali with Sunny Deol and family. Later in a Twitter post, the actor shared a 35-second-long video clip in which he can be seen receiving a booster dose for COVID-19 from a team of doctors at his residence.
“Taking the booster and everyone must take it. It didn’t hurt. But do continue to wear masks. Thank you to all the doctors,” he said in the video.

India added 2,71,202 new coronavirus infections, taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,71,22,164, including 7,743 cases of the Omicron variant, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Sunday.
The country saw 1,702 new cases of Omicron variant, the highest in a single day so far, and an increase of 28.17 per cent since Saturday.
With the administration of more than 66 lakh Doses (66,21,395) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 156.76 Cr (1,56,76,15,454) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
