Everything You Need to Know About NEET PG 2024 That Is Being Conducted Tomorrow

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) tomorrow, June 23, across India. Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the exam:

Exam Details

NEET PG 2024 will be conducted in English and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. Each question has four answer options, and for every incorrect answer, there is a 25% negative marking. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Exam Day Guidelines

1. Admit Card: Make sure to bring a printed copy of your NEET PG admit card.

2. Dress Code: Adhere to the dress code specified by the exam authorities.

3. Prohibited Items: Do not carry electronic devices, calculators, stationery, food, or any other unnecessary items to the exam venue.

4. Arrival Time: Reach the exam hall at least one hour before the scheduled start time.

5. Required Documents: You must carry a printed copy of your NEET PG admit card, an original government-issued ID, and a photocopy of your MBBS qualification’s Permanent/Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration.

6. Location Familiarity: Know the location of your exam center beforehand and plan your transportation accordingly.

7. Late Entry: NBEMS strictly prohibits late entry into the exam hall, so arrive on time.

8. Restricted Objects: Avoid bringing any items that are not allowed inside the test center.

Purpose of NEET PG:

NEET PG serves as a qualifying and ranking examination for admission into MS/MD and PG Diploma courses as per the NMCA (National Medical Commission Act) and Indian Medical Council Act.
