Earlier this week, Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal on Friday informed his fans that he has tested positive for Covid19. The actor had recently got himself vaccinated and in spite of that, he has been infected. The actor wrote, “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”

Recently, many Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for coronavirus. Actors Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Rohit Saraf, Kartik Aaryan informed that they have tested positive this week. Aamir’s spokesperson said, “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

Daily cases of Covid-19 in India crossed 60,000 on Friday for the first time in 160 days, with Maharashtra, Punjab and Gujarat in the midst of their worst outbreak since the beginning of the pandemic in the country.
India also recorded 289 deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours, the highest daily toll since December 30.
With daily cases showing the sharpest ever rise over the past 15 days, active cases surged by more than 32,000 on Friday, which was the biggest ever increase in the tally. The number of active cases in the country, which crossed the 4 lakh mark just a day earlier, went past 4.5 lakh on Friday. Active cases had shown a net increase in 34 out of 36 states/UTs on Thursday.
