National Health Authority Launches Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) Public Dashboard for Real-Time Updates on Healthcare Scheme
Real-Time Information on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Now Available to the Public
The National Health Authority (NHA) has taken a significant step towards enhancing transparency and accessibility with the launch of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) public dashboard. The dashboard, which provides real-time information on the flagship healthcare scheme, aims to empower stakeholders with detailed insights into its progress.
According to the health ministry’s official statement, the ABDM public dashboard displays comprehensive information on the core registries under the mission. These include the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) numbers, Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR), and Health Facility Registry (HFR).
As of May 30, 2022, the total number of ABHA (formerly known as health ID) creations reached an impressive 22.1 crore. Furthermore, over 16.6 thousand healthcare professionals and more than 69.4 thousand health facilities have successfully registered in the HPR and HFR, respectively. The ABHA app, recently revamped, has garnered over 5.1 lakh downloads.
The public dashboard not only offers a daily and cumulative count of registered health facilities but also presents partner-wise data of ABHA generation and digital health records. This breakdown allows users to track the scheme’s progress in specific areas.
RS Sharma, CEO of NHA, highlighted the principles driving the ABDM public dashboard – accessibility, transparency, inclusivity, and inter-operability. The platform’s open access ensures that all stakeholders can access the data in a transparent manner, providing a clear picture of the progress made by ABDM ecosystem partners.
Dashboard Provides Granular Details on Core Registries and Scheme’s Progress
The dashboard also presents a transparent view of ABHA generation at both the national and state/UT levels, with additional segregation based on gender and age.
Additionally, the ABHA number generation facility is available through popular digital health applications like CoWIN, PMJAY, Aarogya Setu, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and e-Sushrut Railway Hospital. Each partnering app’s performance and the number of health records linked are also visible on the ABDM Dashboard.
With the ABDM public dashboard, the National Health Authority aims to enhance data-driven decision-making and strengthen the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in transforming healthcare accessibility and delivery across the nation.
