The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 will start on August 14. This announcement was made in a notice issued on July 29.
Registration Process for NEET UG 2024
Dr. B Srinivas, Secretary of the National Medical Commission (NMC), state that the registration process for counselling is expect to begin in the first week of August. Candidates should regularly check the MCC website for the latest updates and notifications about the counselling process.
Seat Allocation Details
“The counselling will allocate approximately 1.10 lakh MBBS seats in around 710 medical colleges nationwide. 21,000 BDS seats, as well as Ayush and nursing seats, will be included in the counselling,” Dr Srinivas mentioned.
MCC’s Role
The MCC will oversee the counselling for 15% of all-India Quota seats. They will manage 100% of the seats at all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, all central universities, and all deemed universities.

NEET-UG Results
