Yoga guru Ramdev Baba on Friday has released a scientific research paper on the first evidence-based medicine for Covid-19 by Patanjali. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are also present at the event.

Earlier, Ramdev had reported that for its controversial Covid-19 immunity booster medicine Coronil, Patanjali Ayurved is witnessing demand for about 10 lakh packs daily. In June last year, Ramdev believed that Covid-19 patients could be cured by Coronil.
The AYUSH Ministry, however, immediately imposed restrictions on the overselling of Patanjali. The Union Ministry subsequently reported that the product could only be marketed by Patanjali as an immunity booster, but not as a remedy for Covid-19.
The Madras High Court had restrained Patanjali from using Coronil trademark till July 30, over a petition filed by a Chennai-based company.
