PM Modi Appeals All To Be Part Of Janta Curfew

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday appealed to the people to stay at home in a bid to maintain social distancing and breaking the chain from fast spreading of coronavirus throughout the country.

Two days back, the prime minister had given a clarion call of Janta Curfew, urging people not to venture out in order to keep themselves away from the deadly coronavirus.

In a tweet, Mr Modi said, “In a few minutes from now, the #JantaCurfew commences. Let us all be a part of this curfew, which will add tremendous strength to the fight against COVID-19 menace. The steps we take now will help in the times to come. Stay indoors and stay healthy. #IndiaFightsCorona.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had also urged the people to make ‘Janta Curfew’ a huge success by staying at home on Sunday following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
