PM Modi announce the benefits of Scheme

This expanded coverage will benefit around six crore senior citizens, providing each with Rs 5-lakh worth of free health insurance. This will support approximately 4.5 crore families. Eligible beneficiaries will receive a new distinct card under the scheme to access the benefits.

“We committed to ensuring that every Indian has access to affordable, high-quality healthcare. With this Cabinet decision, health coverage extended to all citizens above 70 years of age. The PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE) Scheme has a budget of Rs 10,900 crore, while the PM-eBus Sewa-Payment Security Mechanism (PSM) Scheme allocated Rs 3,435 crore.

These schemes focused on promoting the use of electric vehicles, such as buses, ambulances, and trucks. Prime Minister Modi noted that the PM-eBus Sewa scheme will encourage greater participation in the sector and help build a sustainable future.
