‘Pyjama, Lipstick, Pout’: Kareena Kapoor Khan Shares Her COVID-19 Isolation Kit

Kareena Kapoor Khan surely knows how to fight the boredom during her ongoing COVID-19 isolation quarantine. On Thursday, Kareena took to her Instagram Story and shared a photograph of herself chilling in her pyjamas and updating about her health after getting positive for Covid-19. In the picture, she can also be seen sporting red lipstick.

“Pyjamas, lipstick and a pout… quite the combination. Try it,” she captioned the image. In another post, Kareena gave an update about her health. She expressed her happiness as her quarantine period is about to end in two days.

“I’m still trying to figure out if we are still in covid times or not…anyway day 12…two days to go…stay safe all,” she wrote. Kareena contracted COVID-19 on December 3.

Her best friend Amrita Arora is also currently battling the deadly disease.

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan on December 14 confirmed that she has tested positive for coronavirus, hours after the news developed from Mumbai’s civic body Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

“I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested,” said Kareena Kapoor, who is double vaccinated.

BMC officials said they were examining reports that the actors had violated coronavirus restrictions by going to parties. The actors, who are close friends, were recently seen in party pics posted on Instagram.

They were clicked attending a party hosted by Anil Kapoor’s daughter Rhea Kapoor in Mumbai last week.

As Omicron cases rise in Mumbai, large gatherings have been debarred in the city.

India’s Active Caseload presently at 78,291. Active cases constitute 0.23% of the country’s total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March 2020.

The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded. The last 24 hours saw a total of 12,05,775tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 66.86 Cr (66,86,43,929) cumulative tests.

While testing capacity has been enhanced across the country, Weekly Positivity Rate at 0.59% remains less than 1% for the last 39 days now. The Daily Positivity rate reported to be 0.62%. The daily Positivity rate has remained below 2% for last 80 days and below 3% for 115 consecutive days now.
