One of the key recommendations put forth by Justice Mishra was the enforcement of laws to compel families to accept individuals with mental illnesses after receiving treatment. These laws should include provisions for maintenance and the right to property, ensuring the rights and well-being of those affected.

Justice Mishra also stressed that such an approach should be based on love, care, and affection. He urged individuals to change their mindset and adopt a more empathetic and supportive attitude towards those with mental health conditions. According to him, this shift in mindset is crucial for the successful implementation of any legal amendments and the protection of the rights of people suffering from mental illnesses.

The workshop also shed light on the lack of support from society, hindering the proper treatment and well-being of those with mental illnesses.
