A pilot, YouTuber, and a mother- it’s stunning to see how Ritu Rathee Taneja manages to juggle the different roles in life.
The 30-year-old was born and raised in Gurugram and completed her Bachelor’s in Chemistry from St Stephen’s College. Came into a pilot profession on a friend’s suggestion.
Being a social media Influencer, Ritu has been an inspiration to many working women, mothers, daughters, wife and sisters. Ritu has always made it clear that when she is flying she likes to keep all distractions away as it is a serious profession. But no matter how much work is pending as an influencer or as Gaurav’s manager, she spends two hours a day specifically with her daughter, playing with her, and teaching her.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she recently posted a video with a strong message on menstrual hygiene and spoke how difficult it was for her to become a pilot and achieve her dreams being from a small place in Gurugram. She also spoke about a major issue of how “Every year, 2.3 crore girls in India drop out of schools due to lack of period protection. That is 2.3 crore dreams shattered every year. And says we should not ignore it. Want to know how you can help change this? she captioned.
Ahead of International Women’s Day, Whisper®, India’s leading feminine care brand has come together with UNESCO in a breakthrough partnership to raise awareness and educate girls on Menstrual Hygiene Management under its flagship program #KeepGirlsInSchool.

But there are many who aren’t able to, despite persevering. Every year, 2.3 crore girls in India drop out of school due to a lack of period protection. That is 2.3 crore dreams shattered every year. We should not ignore it. Want to know how you can help change this?”
