To highlight the importance of women in the society, and the achievements, sacrifice, women have contributed to the society, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Chandigarh Chapter organized Women’s Special program at Hotel Hometel, Chandigarh Today for their members.
Present on the occasion were guest of honor, Dr Keerat Kaur Sibia, who shared and enlightened the members by sharing her views on role of a women in development of the society. Even though the Chandigarh Chapter of NIRC-ICSI do not believe that women only need to be celebrated only one day, but every single day. There is an urgent need to celebrate and acknowledge the all that the women have achieved over the years so that the efforts and struggles don’t go unnoticed.
Speaking on the occasion and motivating the members present in the seminar, Dr Keerat Kaur Sibia said” Right to equality is one of the major steps upheld by Dr Ambedkar, for which we can never be thankful enough. We stand on the shoulders of Giants, those women who proved that they are good enough, and perhaps even better, and opened gates of horizons for generations of women to follow. Every man and woman are independent and I want all of you to know that you are complete in yourself and we together can make this society, we have the power to direct it.”
She also highlighted upon the responsibilities, safety, Strength, support a women gets from the society comparing it with their internal strength to retaliate.
