Faridabad, India – In a remarkable step towards enhancing healthcare services for children with special needs, the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in Faridabad inaugurated the pioneering Child Development Centre with Special Needs (CDCSN). The hi-tech center, equipped with the latest technology and staffed by talented medical professionals, aims to address a wide spectrum of growth and developmental issues in children suffering from physical and mental disorders.
Under the visionary leadership of Dr. N. K. Pandey, Chairman of Asian Hospital, the CDCSN was established to alleviate the challenges faced by parents of special and differently-abled children who previously had to travel long distances to Delhi for treatment. The center’s state-of-the-art facilities are set to change this dynamic, providing much-needed relief and convenience to families in the region.

Dr. Vijay Kumar Sharma, Associate Director of the Child Development Center, emphasized the center’s commitment to offering world-class solutions for a diverse range of developmental disorders. These include Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Down’s syndrome, psychological and mental disorders, skill and behavioral development, Cerebral Palsy, intellectual disability, global developmental delays, and handwriting difficulties. To ensure comprehensive care, the CDCSN has assembled a team of highly trained and experienced occupational therapists, speech therapists, parental counselors, children’s psychologists, and behavioral experts.
