There have been various indecisive thoughts about the risk associated with testing positive for Covid-19 while pregnant. A recent study conducted by the Oxford University found that pregnant women infected with coronavirus and their newborns may face a higher risk or complications than the previously known. Though this is not the same for all pregnant women.

The Oxford University study was a smaller one and needs to be investigated more for conclusive results. According to experts, one has to be more careful during Covid-19 as they are dealing with two lives at a time.

However, the experts say there is nothing to be panicked about if there are no complications involved because mild cases can be cured easily at home by maintaining proper diet, rest, and exercise. Though during the advanced stages of pregnancy there could be some serious complications as the immunity level is quite low.
