Why Should Anyone Love You, If You Don’t Love Yourself?

People will come and go, be it your friends, siblings, colleagues, neighbours ….only person who will stay with you is you … always and forever. Thus, it makes all the sense to get along well with yourself, isn’t it?

What Stops Us?

The fact that self-love is still treated like a self-centric thing shouldn’t stop you. Honestly, why should anyone love you if you don’t love yourself? It’s important that you spend time with yourself. An hour a day just with yourself works like a magic potion.

Why is self-Love important?

Because you are the most crucial person in your life so spend time accordingly. Exercise, because this doesn’t only boost your daily mood and performance, but it also comes with many more long-term health benefits. Meditate, take care of yourself, spend time in self-care and see how much better you will feel.

How do I deal with bigots?

Get rid of people who don’t make you feel good. What others say or think about you has nothing to do with reality. It’s just their perception. It shouldn’t affect you, and, especially not your wellbeing.

How do I deal with my regrets?

Move on because it’s only ONE Life you have to live, so give yourself the ability to be happy. If you keep holding on to mistakes, you stand in your own way. As it is very rightly said that ‘pain is certain, suffering is optional’. Whatever it is, accept the feeling and let it go. Drop the past once and for all.

Why do I feel empty and directionless at times?

Practice gratitude by starting to appreciate what you are blessed with instead of complaining about anyone and anything. Life has so much to offer. It’s up to us to make the most out of it. Always remember, no matter how bad you feel, there is always a bright side.

No matter what your end-goal is, make sure to live a life that you can be proud of. Life is not about achieving a particular goal but about who we become in the process.
