World Occupational Therapy Day: Mom’s Belief Organized A 3-Day Activity To Create Awareness On Occupational Therapy And Its Benefits

On the occasion of World Occupational Therapy Day, Mom’s Belief organized a 3-day social media drive from 25th-27th Oct, to create awareness about Occupational therapy and its benefits. Occupational therapy is a branch of healthcare that helps people of all ages with physical, sensory, or cognitive problems.

The 3-day social media campaign educated people about indicators of dyslexia, ways of facilitating Visual-motor skills and concentration levels in kids as well as about the resources that can be used at home to perform Occupational Therapy activities and much more! Mom’s Belief also engaged parents & kids by conducting fun activities on the special day. The activities were, Fun in blue, Hanky play, Dance and freeze, Simon Says & more. 2 fun-filled sessions where a total of 6 Activities were conducted & 6 Winners got certificates & gift vouchers.

To end the 3-day social media drive on a remarkable note, the platform also introduced a one-month expert-led: Mind-Body Activation Program, that helped parents learn & guide their children to perform activities that are healthy for brain stimulation. With this program, parents explored the connection between mind and body to enhance brain functions through interactive exercises for their children. On 27th Oct, Mom’s Belief organized an online expert-led introductory session for parents to understand the program better.

Occupational Therapy can be vital for kids as it helps them to play, improves their academic performance, and perform daily life activities independently that boost their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.
