The Instagram account @whoisthebestbb confirmed on Wednesday that Illia ‘Golem’ Yefimchyk passed away last week.
According to Belarusian and Russian media, the athlete reportedly had a heart attack at home on September 6 and went into a coma, as reported by the Daily Mail. Anna, his wife, allegedly gave him chest compressions while they awaited the ambulance.
