Senior officials of Ayush Ministry and Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous organization of the Ministry, observed a five minutes ‘Yoga-Break’ during the Academy’s 47th Governing Body meeting here on Monday.
Participating in the ‘Yoga Break’ were Shri Pramod Pathak, Special Secretary, Ayush Ministry, Vd. Manoj Nesari, Advisor (Ayurveda), Ayush Ministry, Vd. Anupam Srivastava, Director, RAV and other officials including members of the Governing Body.
Shri Pramod Kumar Pathak while appreciating this initiative of the government said that, during long meetings, this Y-Break protocol really helps in de-stressing the mind and body. He stressed that instead of tea breaks people should do some Yoga and relax themselves so that stress related to work comes down.
He said that he was in favour of such de-stressing activities in every meeting of the Ministry and asked all the departments of the Ministry to follow this protocol.

RAV held its 47th Governing Body meeting under the chairmanship of Vd. Devinder Triguna, president, Governing Body at the India International Centre (IIC) here on Monday, in which several welfare decisions pertaining to the Academy was taken.
During the GB meeting, all officials performed Yoga asanas such as Tadasana, Kati Chakrasana, Ardhachakrasana, deep breathing, Pranayama and Dhyana.
Notably, as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations, the Y-Break mobile application was launched by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Honourable Union Minister of Ayush and Minister of Port, Shipping & Highways, along with Shri Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya, Honourable Minister for Health and Family welfare and Minister of Chemical and Fertilizer, Shri Kiren Rijiju, Honourable Union Minister of Law and Justice, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Honourable Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri. Jitendra Singh, Honourable Union Minister of State (I/c), Ministry of Science and Technology, Earth Science, DOPT and PMO, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Honourable Union Minster of Tourism and Culture and Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai Kalubhai, Honourable Minister of State for Ayush and Woman and Child Development.
