Bollywood Diva Kareena Kapoor Khan is expecting her second child with her husband Saif Ali Khan and keeps herself as fit as before during her pregnancy through Yoga.
The Udta Punjab actress recently took to her Instagram to share a glimpse of her yoga session dressed in athleisure, where she was seen flaunting her baby bump as she did yoga poses.
Kareena, in the first post, was seen wearing a pink sports bra and leggings with a matching jacket.
Which she captioned, “A little bit of yoga. A little bit of calm”

Another set of pictures had Kareena stretching. She wore a black long-sleeved crop top and leggings. “Current Mood: Stretched to the max!” she wrote.

The Bollywood queen, who is due next month, recently revealed the secret to looking ‘glamorous’ throughout her pregnancy. Responding to a question by an Instagram user about looking appealing with all the baby weight, she gave a shout-out to Poo, her iconic character from Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham aka K3G “Because I’m P.H.A.T @freddy_birdy… don’t you know?” Kareena told the user, referring to a dialogue from K3G in which P.H.A.T stands for Pretty Hot And Tempting.
Kareena does inspire all the women out there with her fitness routines, stressing the importance of yoga during pregnancy. But how much Yoga one should do important during pregnancy?
When to start exercise during pregnancy?
Dr. Sukeshini Ramteke, Diet Consultant, Sports Physiotherapist & Fitness Influencer at AXIS Hospital shared her insight about this topic with the readers of Healthwire and said, “During pregnancy, women can start yoga during the 2nd trimester that is around the 5th month.”
How often should you do yoga during pregnancy and why it is important?
Dr. Ramteke suggests, “It would be beneficial doing yoga thrice in a week including mostly breathing exercises like Pranayama during pregnancy.”
“Pranayama is helpful in learning and practicing correct breathing patterns. It helps in getting normal delivery,” added Dr. Ramteke.
What Exercises Are Safe During Pregnancy?
Dr. Ramteke added, “Mostly “ Lamaze” is helpful during pregnancy. It includes different breathing exercises and some hip opening postures like butterfly pose.”
When To Quit Exercising?
“Bleeding is the most common and important sign to stop exercising. Other signs are dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headache, and high blood pressure,” said Dr. Ramteke.
Can yoga cause miscarriage?
“Yoga can be very beneficial during pregnancy, only when you take certain precautions. Doing yoga incorrectly can harm both the mother and the fetus. Yoga should always be done under expert supervision and advice”, suggests Dr. Ramteke.
Saif and Kareena are already parents to four-year-old Taimur. But she has been active throughout her pregnancy like the last time. At the same time, she is also doing several ad campaigns as well as her chat show What Women Want.
Meanwhile, Kareena is going to do her debut as an author with a book titled Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible which will guide mothers-to-be and help them prepare for the months ahead.
