Healthwire media is initiating an event in collaboration with Delhi Govt. for the betterment of our environment. The initiative is inspired by the environmental conditions during and after the lockdown. We all experienced the freshest air of the era or of our life during the lockdown as all the vehicles and transportation got suspended for few days also, public gatherings were limited to time and places which helped the earth to have a clean and fresh air after ages but as we are going back to the normal life we left a year ago, is now again making the environment unclean even creating the worst air.
Most cities are facing a higher level of pollution once again which will be causing various diseases and health problems.
Dr. Vineet Talwar, Director – Medical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC) New Delhi states that “Environment degradation is leading to an increase in the cancer incidence in the country. Protecting the environment and adopting a healthy lifestyle can help prevent cancer and many other diseases which enter in our body because of the pollution.”Realities of modern-day life can’t be avoided but one needs to take precaution so as to protect oneself ”
Life completes a full circle. What goes around comes around. If we pollute the environment, it comes back & hurts us as seen in the rise in global warming. We need to take precautions and try not to contribute to further deterioration of the environment.
By keeping these things in mind and for a better future with a better environment healthwire media is organizing a panel discussion on air pollution and health. Think.Breathe.Act in collaboration with Delhi Govt.
